Traditionally, it takes more resources and costs to hand-pick rounder pearls with rich luster than any pearls that are off round with good luster, and to source premium rainbow pearls.

In general, pearls picked for pendant, earrings and rings are near perfect shape with very minimal or no inclusions, and normally with single hole pierced (exactly over where the inclusion is) per pearl with higher costs for dealers and customers. Whereas pearls picked for a string of pearls are generally in higher grading with minimal inclusions, and normally with two holes pierced per pearl. So the price per pearl used for pendant / ring / earring can be almost the same as or higher than a string of pearls. Less holes with perfection raises the price.

All our necklaces are tied firmly with secured double-knots in between pearls with the strongest finest Japanese thread. And your purchase items will be carefully packed by my team to prevent any breakage.
